WESTLAKE – The No. 27 Crowley Ladies hung tough with the No. 6 Westlake Lady Rams in the first half, but the second half proved to be a different story as the hosts pulled away for a 60-40 victory in the Class 3A playoff opener.

The Ladies ended the season with a 14-12 record.

The Ladies and the Lady Rams were tied at 12-all after the first frame, and the visitors were within seven points at halftime, 27-20, after Westlake outscored Crowley 15-8 in the second period.

The hosts stretched their lead to 44-29 after the third period by taking the third period, 17-9.

Westlake outscored Crowley 16-11 in the last frame.

Myraneika Lastrapes paced the Ladies in scoring with 20 points, and Imani Jackson also scored in double figures with 12 points. The rest of the Ladies who scored were Taylor Perkins with four points, Tyzaneka Price with two points, and Akia Richardson with two points.
