Twenty Crowley High Students Receive Academic Jackets

Senior Brennan Credeur was one of 20 students who received academic jackets during a ceremony on Oct. 7.

The Academic Scholars Reception was held on Oct.7 at 6 p.m in the Crowley High Library to award academic jackets to 20 seniors.

The jacket is presented to seniors who have earned at least a 3.5 grade-point average by the beginning of their senior year.

Assistant Principal Alisha Fontenot began the ceremony with the greeting, and senior Logan Breaux followed with the invocation.

Senior Aaliyah Martin led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Fontenot explained the purpose of the jacket.

Principal Timothy Boudreaux, Junior-Senior Adviser William Pinac, and Fontenot presented the jackets.

Pinac ended the program with the closing remarks.

The following seniors were named Academic Scholars: Alana Abshire, Morgan Babineaux, Breaux, Brennan Credeur, Caithin Dregin, Kamryn Franklin, Shauna Gaspard, Katelyn Hoffpauir, Jocelyn Marceaux, Martin, Landan McGee, Annalise Matte, Mya Moore, Skylar Nolan, Brooke Perrodin, Mariah Prince, Katie Sarver, Jordan Vincent, Abigail Wulf, and Gabrielle Wulf.
