LONGVILLE – The No.30-seeded Crowley Gents just could not get anything going and fell 6-1 to the South Beauregard Knights.

The Gents could only manage two hits.

Randy Hanks was tagged with the loss after throwing just ⅓ of an inning. He allowed four runs on three hits and walked two.

Grant Russell surrendered just one run on two hits and two walks in 4 ⅓ innings. Christian Stafford pitched the final 1 ⅓ innings and struck out one and walked one.

The Gents scored their only run in the top of the fifth inning. Freshman Ryan Trahan led off the inning with a single to center field and eventually scored on a sacrifice by fly by Zan Habetz.
