Ladies Finish Second in Iota Bulldog Relays

IOTA – The Crowley Ladies scored 103 points to finish second in the Iota Bulldog Relays here Friday.

Leading the way for the Ladies was Ajah Kneeland, who won the long jump (15-7 ½) and the 100-meter hurdles (15.84). She was also second in the triple jump (32-6 ½) and third in the 300 hurdles (51.67).

Anijah Williams won the 200-meter dash (25.72), and she was second in the 100 (12.92). She was also a member of the winning 4×200 relay team (1:46.08) along with Jaelyn Johnson, Tamieya Guillory, and Tanieya Guillory, as well as the winning 4×400 relay team (4:11.27) along with Johnson. Kaitlyn George and Tamieya Guillory.

Taylor Walker also claimed second place in the high jump (4-10).

On the boys’ side, Crowley finished third in the team standings with 61 points.

Tyron Goodley led the Gents by winning the long jump (21-9 ¼) and triple jump (43-2).

Tyler Carrier was second in the 300 hurdles(42.28) and third in the 100 hurdles (16.53).

Markel Domino placed third in both the discus (120-4) and the javelin (151-7), while the 4×100 relay team of Carrier, Chris Moore, Jonkeyvan Marks, and Marquis Garrett was third with a 45.26, and the 4×200 relay team of Carrier, Moore, Garrett, and Jeremy Johnson finished with a time of 1:33.09 for third.
